We use a small hair sample because it’s a simple, non-invasive, and convenient way to take part in our wellness process. Hair grows gradually, which makes it a useful input for exploring possible wellness-related patterns over time – without needles, swabs, or discomfort.
Our digital, non-diagnostic wellness technology uses your sample to highlight general patterns that may relate to foods, nutrients, and overall digestive wellness. And with processing times typically within 72 hours of receiving your sample, you can explore your wellness insights without the wait.*
Don’t worry – color, treatments, or bleach is perfectly acceptable. Take your sample from as close to the root as possible (no follicle needed!)
Just make sure your hair is clean and free of products like gels, sprays, or anything metallic (except for using scissors when taking your sample.)
Shampoo and conditioner are fine to use before collecting your sample.
No hair, no problem! We also accept facial or body hair.
Please provide 10 strands at least 0.5 inches long. If the hair is shorter, provide 20 strands instead.
